Estiluz was formed in 1969 by Gerard Masdeu Jordà as a firm dedication to high-end decorative lighting with unique designs and handcrafted finishes. The Masdeu family was in charge of the entire process: Gerard used his ingenuity, while his father, Anton Masdeu, and brother, Eduard Masdeu, contributed their exceptional expertise of metal mechanization. Estiluz opened its first branch office in New York in 1993, when the excellence of their designs gained attention at international exhibitions. Others will soon follow suit. The company has improved its links with Germany by implementing contemporary engineering technologies and streamlining its manufacturing procedures.
